School aims to be the Centre of excellence in education using technology, where the seeds of all round development of children are shown at an early age, being the Principal of the school, I take immense pleasure and pride to present report of our activities and achievements for the past academic year 2024- 25.

MISSION

Indo American Children’s Academy is dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where academic rigor, character-building, creativity, and leadership are cultivated. We aim to empower each student with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to excel in a rapidly changing global society.

RESULTS (2024-25)

In the annual examination of 2024-25, students’ performance in each class is quite satisfactory. Most of the students secured above 90% of marks in aggregate. We congratulate our students for their excellent performance and extend warm wishes for their bright future. The best students of each class are awarded with prizes in the annual day ceremony.

STAFF FACULTY

The most valuable resource that any school can have is its staff. The School collectively has an enthusiastic and dedicated team of 18 teachers in the secondary, primary and middle School. In addition we have non-teaching and support staff. Their coordination with each other is what enables the school to function smoothly and grow in new prospects.
The school continues to strive towards innovation and latest practices in the field of pedagogy are being continuously incorporated. The school has signed with an external educational team for teaching industry oriented courses from this upcoming year 2025-26.

SCHOOL MANAGING COMMITTEE

Meetings of SMC members are held on a regular basis and new members are nominated for the academic year 2025-26. Meetings have been arranged periodically where the members of SMC are closely involved in most of the academic and co-curricular activities. We thank and congratulate them for their support and cooperation throughout the year.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES

At Indo American Children’s Academy, we strive to create an academically enriching environment that fosters critical thinking, innovation, and a lifelong love for learning. During the academic year 2024–25, several academic initiatives and programs were organized to enhance student engagement and performance:

1. Classroom Innovations

• Smart Classrooms: Integration of audio-visual aids and digital content in classrooms for subjects like Science, Mathematics, and Social Studies.
• Activity-Based Learning: Implementation of project-based and experiential learning strategies across all grades.

2. Olympiads and Competitive Exams

• Participation in national-level Olympiads (SOF, NSTSE, Green Olympiad).
• Students were awarded certificates and medals for excellence.

3. Assessment & Evaluation

• Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) to monitor student progress holistically.
• Regular unit tests, half-yearly and annual examinations conducted efficiently.

4. Academic Workshops & Seminars

• Student Workshops: Sessions on Mathematics, Creative Writing, and Science Experiments.
• Teacher Development Programs: Training on NEP 2020 guidelines, classroom management, and digital pedagogy.

5. Library & Reading Program

• “Read & Reflect” program launched to promote reading habits among students.
• Weekly library periods and book review competitions were held.

6. Integration of NEP 2020 Guidelines

• Emphasis on competency-based education and foundational literacy and numeracy skills.

TRAINING, SEMINARS, ORIENTATION AND COUNSELING

“Equipping our team with skills today to lead with vision tomorrow.”
Each academic year training, seminars and orientation programs are conducted for students and teachers with a dual focus to improve and efficiently implement innovative ideas in teaching learning practices as well as to take students be on their current levels in teaching- learning counselling sessions are being conducted by reputed personalities.
In an effort to better themselves, a considerable number of teachers have acquired degrees in B.Ed, D.El.Ed ,

Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities.

Co-curricular activities are essential attributes for any educational institution as they strengthen the classroom learning as well as develop the personality of a child which are conducted all-round the year to encourage applied education. Some of these activities are card making, best use of waste, poster making, chart making. Participation by the students and teachers in these events is commendable.

GAMES & SPORTS ACTIVITIES

“Beyond winning or losing, it’s the passion to play that defines a true athlete.”
When students are physically fit they will achieve more academically. Games and sports develop a sense of friendliness among the children and also build their team spirit. It has children to develop mental and physical toughness during this in mind the school provides ample opportunities for the students to perform regular exercise and yoga. Many students participated in various events like chess tournament, cricket tournament, football tournament, kho-kho, volleyball, Carom Board tournaments and have won laurels to the school.

UNIQUE ACHIEVEMENT: Our students are getting Taekwondo training

CELEBRATIONS.

To foster National integration and international understanding, religious and cultural awareness, various occasions –National, religious and cultural festivals are celebrated with enthusiasm and grandeur.

National Festivals:

Independence Day, Republic Day, Kargil Vijay Divas and other National events are celebrated with reverence for our motherland with patriotic song and dances.

School Celebration:

Investiture ceremony was celebrated in a befitting manner and responsibilities were given to all the elected students to develop a sense of leadership.

Other Celebrations

School gives recognition to significant global events and celebrates these special days with enthusiasm. Some of the events celebrated are- Hindi Divas, Children’s Day, Yoga day, Science exhibition, Environment day etc.

“In our continuous pursuit of academic excellence, Indo American Children’s Academy is excited to introduce new enrichment programs in the coming year, including Abacus training and Spoken English classes. These initiatives aim to strengthen our students’ foundational skills in mathematics and communication, nurturing confidence, creativity, and critical thinking from an early age.”
